The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) is dedicated to the study and treatment of tumors. Every year they publish their clinical cancer advances. ASCO reports that from November 2015 to October 2016, the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved 20 therapies for more than a dozen different types of cancer. Immunotherapy is one of them.
